- This is a total waste of taxpayer money, I can almost guarantee it will be a hung jury then a mis-trial. The ONLY reason the prosecution is pursuing this case is for Black appeasement. This guy is innocent in all respects, and I would have done the same thing to protect myself from a beating.

- That shop owner should have had a gun and killed both of them. Screw Chicago's gun law. I would personally rather be a live law breaker than a dead law abiding citizen. I would kill the robbers and take my chances in court. Better alive than dead.
